All the ties of the team were carried out in Puerto Rico on the outdoor hard surface.
The first tie of the Dominican team was held against Puerto Rico and the team lost badly by a score of 0-3. Thus, the start for the team was not good.

In the doubles match, V.Masalles and N.Baez of Dominican Republic defeated J.Roca-Valverde and A.Brenes of Costa Rica by 7-6(4) and 6-3. Thus, Dominican Republic defeated Costa Rica by a score of 3-0.
