Performance of Chile at the 2003 Fed Cup
On 24th April Chile played matches against Bermuda in the first set of Round Robin. In this set of matches, it defeated the Bermuda team by a score of 3-0.
Chile played their second set of Round Robin matches against Trinidad & Tobago on 25th April. In this set Chile defeated Trinidad & Tobago by a score of 3-0.
On 26th April Chile played their third set of matches Round Robin matches against Bolivia. In the third set it defeated the team from Bolivia by 3-0
On the fourth consecutive day, Chile played the fourth set of Round Robin matches against Jamaica. V.Castro defeated M.Moulton-Levy of Jamaica by 6-3 and 6-4 in the first match. In the second match, A.Koch-Benvenuto defeated A.Broderick of Jamaica in sets of 6-2 and 6-0.
In the doubles match, M.Moulton-Levy and A.Broderick of Jamaica defeated V.Castro ad M.Rodriguez in straight sets of 6-1 and 6-4. Thus, Chile defeated Jamaica by a score of 2-1 in the fourth set of Round Robin matches.
