Turkey crumbled at the hands of Luxembourg with the score 1-2. The second tie was a pathetic experience for Turkey. Yugoslavia, one of the Fed Cup veterans send Turkey spinning down with a 0 score. Poland was the last one to give the taste of defeat to Turkey at the 2002 Fed Cup. Turkey lost the tie 1-2. All these ties were conducted on home grounds from 24 to 26 April 2002.
