Introduction

Australia took part in the Federation Cup tournaments in the year 1963 and in the same year Federation cup competitions were introduced. The final round played in the year 1963 Australia was defeated by the United States but the other rounds played by the Australian team was excellent as it defeated the Belgium, Hungary, South African teams.
