Performance of Paraguay at the 2001 Federation Cup
Paraguay at the 2001 Federation Cup played three Round Robin ties from 24th April to 26th April in Uruguay on the outdoor clay surface. In their first tie against the team of Brazil the Paraguay team failed disastrously and could not register a single victory and lost the round by a humiliating score of 0-3. Then the Paraguay team then took on the challenge of the Canadian team but the challenge was too tough to bear for the Paraguay team. The team lost the round again by 0-3 and was at the lowest level of their performance in the competition. In their third tie in the competition the Paraguay team had to overcome the challenge of the Ecuador team and the team had the miraculous performance for the first time in the competition. The Paraguay team played with all their power and energy and pulled victory in three matches and the tie completely by a score of 3-0. Thus the team of Paraguay played their three ties in which only one tie was theirs.
