Trinidad and Tobago at the 1994 Federation Cup

The participation of Trinidad and Tobago started in the year 1990 when they played for the first time in the Fed Cup. From the year 1990 to the year 1991 they played in the world group. After that they have always participated in the American group. Their performance has not been good so far. Till date they have never become the finalists of the Fed Cup. Also they in today's date have never reached the semifinals or the quarter finals as well. Till now they have played 17 games out of which they won only 5. In the year 1993 they showed their best performance in the fed cup.

Trinidad and Tobago played in the year 1994 at Bolivia on the clay outdoor. Trinidad and Tobago at the 1994 Fed Cup opened their first game against Chile losing with a score of 3-0. After the disappointing first game loss next on the list was Ecuador. They once again showed the lack of game level by losing with a score of 2-1. Against Bahamas the team won for the first time in the year thus regained lost self confidence with a score of 2-1. The other against Jamaica was a easy one as they received a walkover. The last match of season once again ended disappointingly as they lost against Venezuela with a score of 3-0.

Trinidad and Tobago at the 1994 Fed Cup played a total of five matches from which they won 1 and received another win as walkover against Jamaica. The other 3 matches were the ones they lost. They lost against teams like Chile, Ecuador and Venezuela. The only team won against was Bahamas.
