Singapore at the 1994 Federation Cup

Singapore started actively participating in the fed cup since the year 1989. From the year 1990 till the year 1992 they didn't participate in the Fed Cup. Once again they started participating in the fed cup since the year 1993. In the year 1989, the played in the world group. From the year 1993 they played in the Asia/Oceanic group. Till date they have never reached the finals of the fed cup. Also their performance has never been remarkable. Till now Singapore has played a total of eight games but not won a single one as yet. The team is not having the winning class players. Valerie TAN has been their all time best record holding player till date.

Singapore at the 1994 Fed Cup displayed one of the most miserable performances amongst all teams that participated. They played their first match in India on the clay outdoor court against Sri Lanka losing bitterly with the score line of 3-0. The match once again saw the same kind of drama whilst they lost to rivals Thailand once again with a score of 3-0. The last match ended the tournament with the most annoying score of 3-0 again against New Zealand adding to their misery. The team showed lack of confidence in their game.

Singapore at the 1994 Fed Cup played hopelessly displaying the lack of self confidence in their game play. They played a total of three games losing all of them with poor score of 3-0. They played against teams like New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand.
