Denmark at the 1981 Federation Cup

Denmark made its first entry in the year 1963.Denmark has reached the Quarterfinals of the Federation Cup in the year 1976.In the year 1963 Denmark played against Hungary under the World Group and was defeated by the Hungary players. The women's tennis played in the year 1981 year is the 19th edition. In the year 1973, the first round played against Yugoslavia at the clay court of Germany, F.R, Denmark defeated Yugoslavia. In the year 1977 Denmark played against the nations such as Japan, Belgium, Uruguay, Italy, and Great Britain.

It won against the Belgium and Japan teams by winning all the three matches, against Italy, Uruguay Denmark won by winning two matches out of the total three played. In the year 1979 under the World Group Consolation Round Denmark defeated Indonesia. Denmark at the 1981 Federation Cup was one of the participants.
