Canada made it first entry in the Womens Federation Cup in the year 1963.In the year 1963 the team consisted of players Ann Barclay and Louise Brown played the first Federation Cup at the Queen's Club, London, Great Britain. In this Federation Cup played in the year 1963, Great Britain defeated Canada by not allowing the Canadian players to win a single game. The year 1980, Canada defeated France at the clay court of France under the World Group Consolation.
