| Introduction
The Davis Cup is the largest international team event that is held in the sport of tennis. The 2003 Davis Cup being the 92nd edition of this tournament hosted a total of 135 teams that participated from all over the world. Amongst these participants Bahamas at the 2003 Davis Cup was one of the contenders. It debuted in this tournament in the year 1989. However in the earlier period the players of Bahamas played for Caribbean/West Indies. The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association governs the Davis Cup team that represents Bahamas in this tournament.
