The First round matches were held from the 4th of February to the 6th of February. The first set of matches at the Davis Cup that Netherlands played was against Germany. These games were held in the Messe Hall, Leipzig, Germany. Netherlands’s players tried their best and gave a tough fight to the players from Germany, but out of the total 5 matches that Netherlands played against Germany, 4 were won by the Germany’s players while only 1 was won by Netherlands players.
