In the second match, Ivan LJubicic of Croatia defeated Valentin Sanon of Cote D’Ivoire. In the doubles match Goran Ivanisevic and Ivo Karlovic of Croatia put up dominant performance and defeated Llou Lonfo and Claude N’Goran N’Goran of Cote D’Ivoire. In the fourth match, Valentin Sanon of Cote D’Ivoire was defeated by Mario Ancic of Croatia. In the fifth match Ivo Karlovic of Croatia defeated Claude N’Goran N’Goran. Thus, all the matches of the third round were lost by Cote D’Ivoire team by showing poor performance.
