Introduction

The Davis Cup was the most crucial championship between national teams in men�s tennis. Group IV began with the regional zones and there was promotion and relegation between this zone and Group III. Belarus at the 1997 Davis Cup took part at the zonal level. Belarus took part in the Davis Cup for the first time in 1994.
