Davis Cup was formerly known as the International Lawn Tennis Challenge. Davis Cup is the premier international tennis tournament that is held only for Mens. It is regarded as the largest annual international event that is held in the sport of tennis. Actually this tournament started as a challenge between Great Britain and United states. The idea of this tennis showdown was conceived in the year 1899 but was materialized in the year 1900. So this year marked the beginning of the Davis Cup.
