Introduction
Davis Cup was formerly known as the International Lawn tennis Challenge. It is the premier international tennis tournament that is held only for Mens. Actually this tournament started as a challenge between Great Britain and United states. The idea of this tennis showdown was conceived by four tennis players of the Harvard University in the year 1899, but was materialized in the year 1900. So this year marked the beginning of the Davis Cup. This tournament is governed by the International Tennis Federation, which frames most of the rules of the game.
