Davis Cup is regarded as the largest annual international tennis event that is held in the sport of tennis. It started as a challenge between Great Britain and United States. Then it gradually spread to other parts of the world. Thus nations from other parts of the world also started taking participating in it. In the first round it defeated Jordan by a score line of 3-0. In the second round it defeated United Arab Emirates by a score line of 3-0. In the Third round it defeated Pacific Oceania by a score line of 2-1. In the fourth round it got defeated by Saudi Arabia. The score line was 0-3. However in the fifth round it won against Lebanon by a score line of 2-1.
