Introduction

The International Tennis Federation is the organization which is responsible for these tournaments. It is one of the first kinds of international team events in men's tennis. In the field of sports it's considered to be one of the biggest annual international team competitions and usually comprises of the teams from competing countries. The countries which wish to compete in this elite World Group of 16 nations. The competitions are played on four weekends during the year. Each tie comprises of five matches and carried out for a period of three days usually Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On a Friday matches are played between bet two players of each country. Doubles is played on the second day. On the third day, the final two matches are played in reverse singles in which the first day contestants usually play again, but swap opponents from the first day's singles matches.
