The USA defeated defending champions Australia in the Challenge Round., ending Australia’s four year run at the top. The final was played at White City Stadium in Sydney, Australia on 27-29 December. Canada at the 1954 Davis Cup was one of the participants in the championship. The Davis Cup is the premier international team event in men’s tennis. The largest annual international team competition in sport, the Davis Cup is run by the International Tennis Federation.

Both matches, which is first round and semi final, done very tough because their score ratio indicated something which was very tough. But in the final round United States defeated Mexico.
